北京快3计划导师The Summer Bridge programs at Northeastern Illinois University provide opportunities for you to get a jumpstart on your academic career, meet other students, become more familiar with NEIU and build your confidence before you begin this fall semester.

To be eligible for one of the Summer Bridge programs, you must be an incoming first-year student admitted to NEIU for the upcoming fall semester. Visit the specific program pages for additional eligibility requirements, program details and application information.

Summer Bridge consists of three programs:

EMERGE

English Session

  • Program Dates: Monday to Thursday, July 1 to July 19, 2019
  • Program Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Location: Northeastern Illinois University, 5500 N. St. Louis Ave., Chicago, IL?

Math Session

  • Program Dates: Monday to Thursday, July 21 to August 9, 2019
  • Program Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Location: Northeastern Illinois University, 5500 N. St. Louis Ave., Chicago, IL?

Google CSSIx

  • Program Dates: Monday to Friday, July 22 to August?9, 2019
  • Program Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Location: Northeastern Illinois University, El Centro, 3390 N. Avondale Ave., Chicago, IL

Summer Transition Program (STP)?

  • Program Dates: Monday to Friday, July 1 to August 9, 2019
  • Program Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Locations:
    • Jacob H. Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies, 700 E. Oakwood Blvd., Chicago, IL?
    • El Centro, 3390 N. Avondale Ave., Chicago, IL

Why Should I Participate?

Here's why you should consider participating in one of our Summer Bridge programs:

GET A HEAD START ON COLLEGE

  • Build your confidence by participating college life and academics before the fall semester begins.
  • Experience a college course with STP. Prepare for Computer Science studies with Google CSSIx. Build a stronger Math and/or English foundation with EMERGE.

CONNECT AND MEET NEW PEOPLE

  • Meet other new students and make friends before the fall semester begins.
  • Get to know faculty, staff and peer leaders who will help you succeed at Northeastern.
  • Learn about campus resources and how to get around before your first day of Fall classes.

SUMMER BRIDGE PROGRAMS ARE FREE

  • Registration and attendance for all programs is free.
  • Lunch is provided daily.
  • Workshop and course materials are provided.
  • Limited number of spaces are available for students to live on campus, in the Nest, during Summer Bridge programs.
  • Students who are not living on campus are required to provide their own transportation and/or parking expenses.
